Food, Inc. 2 (Magnolia Pictures, 2024)

A story about power:
Monopolies, exploitation and manipulation

Since the groundbreaking 2008 documentary Food, Inc., multinational corporations have continued to consolidate and evolve into unchecked monopolies.

A handful of companies control almost every category of food and exert their power over our government, workforce and the consumer, making our food system more fragile and prone to shortages.

Food, Inc. 2, the sequel to the 2008 Oscar®-nominated and Emmy® Award-winning documentary Food, Inc., centers innovative farmers, future-thinking food producers, workers’ rights activists and prominent legislators inspiring change and build a healthier, more sustainable future.

The Campaign:

As part of this ongoing effort to revolutionize the food industry, our impact partners work to tackle all sides of the problem in the mission to enact real, healthy change to our food systems.

In partnership with Open Markets Institute, Coalition of Immokalee Workers and FoodFight USA, which was recently launched by Todd Wagner and Lori McCreary, the impact campaign raised awareness and advanced conversations around ultra-processed foods, corporate consolidation, and workers’ rights.
